Your trip to Oia will make short stops on the way to take pictures in memorable sights like Firostefani, Imerovigli and the narrowest part of the island.
First stop will be at Firostefani: an old village with traditional houses, narrow paths and view to one of the most famous blue dome church.
The second, at Imerovigli, located at the highest & most central part of the Caldera, has an impressive view to the Volcano and Skaros rock.During your way to the cultural village of Oia, you will be passing through the narrowest spot of the island. In Oia, you will find the blue domed churches, open-air cafes & restaurants and amazing shopping areas. Oia is one of the most photographed places in Greece, situated on top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view over the volcano. The village has several cultural attractions like the Maritime Museum, traces of a Venetian fortress and the Captains houses. You will also see the cave houses used to be the homes of ship crews, whereas the Captain's houses belonged to the affluent class of ship owners.
